The Mini Log brings the glide, trim and nose-riding feel of a traditional log into a shorter, more manageable and fun shape. At around eight feet, it’s easier to turn, easier to get through the waves, noseride and playful enough to sit tighter in the pocket.
Best suited for those Surfers progressing towards a full-sized log, experienced longboarders wanting a shorter and fun board alternative, and anyone looking for an easy, versatile board for small-to-medium waves.
Stevie’s Notes
The original Mini Log was shaped by my dad, Des, its definitely considered a fun board. Because it’s shorter than a traditional log, you can nose ride closer to the critical part of the wave. It has great trim and natural speed, glides beautifully from the nose and still lets you step back and turn it off the tail.
It’s more manoeuvrable and forgiving than a full-sized log, easier to handle through the waves and a great in-betweener for anyone wanting to get into logging.
