Fast through softer sections and lively in the pocket, the 6' Fish is best ridden with slightly less buoyancy than your usual volume. This keeps the board engaged with the wave and gives it a more responsive, connected feeling through turns.

This board has instant top speed. You stand up and it’s already moving at full pace.
It’s an old-school keeled fish, so it has that fast, free feeling, but the six-foot length gives you enough rail to draw out a proper turn. You can mix up short, pivoting turns in the pocket with longer arcs across the face, and it transitions between the two really naturally.
It holds well on both the heel-side and toe-side rail and stays reliable when you push it. I’d recommend riding it slightly under your normal buoyancy, because that keeps the board sitting into the wave rather than floating too high on top of it.
It’s a playful board for making small-to-medium surf feel fast, smooth and exciting.
